The runs were good. Beans unique. Potato salad store bought and lousy. Not much atmosphere, not that class. Gallon jugs of BBQ sauce tells me they don't make their own.

It is a simple restaurant. They make a totally incredible whole smoked turkey. I enjoy, their chicken hind quarters and brisket. Everyone has great things to say about their pulled pork. The prices are reasonable and the service is very fast. Typically within 2-5 minutes from the time I order the food arrives.

Bottom line, they do good food, good price and worth the trip.Understand this is a crass themed BBQ joint that looks kinda rough and dirty upon initial glance. The doors look well used and the floors have good blacked trails on them. If your lady wears a full face of makeup and sounds like a valley girl, this isn't her place. The food is the draw. Huge portions, good meat, especially when fresh and good ol fashioned non-pc service. BBQ Schacht sandwich combo for $13.95 was a deal especially since I had for dinner also. The sign supporting firearms was nice to see, if even a bit tongue and cheek, for the libtard ol Seattle area.

I was craving a juicy, smokey pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw and potato salad and boy am I happy we went here!

Don't let the storefront scare you, this is a hidden gem! The brisket sammich is KILLER! The beans weren't bad either. I'll be back. YUM!!

Some of the best bbq I've had in washington. That being said, they'd get 5 stars from me if they cleaned up the place a little.
Jason Wells
Best barbecue around!!!!Get the shack attack
James Castle

Some of the best bbq I've ever had!
John Riley
Great ribs and pulled pork sammiches. I liked the potato salad too. On the days I have been there, the brisket is all gone. :( I need to get there earlier. You could drive by this place and never notice.
Matthew McKail
The food is off the hook the ribs are cooked to perfection the service is OK but it's all worth it in the end

It was good food with great prices.

Very good BBQ! Pork and Beef is Fantasticly smoked, providing a very classic taste of Heat + Smoke! The Sides are all Very Good. The Potato Salad and Cole Slaw are simple and straight forward and NOT overwhelming with Sugar or Vinegar. The Baked Bean side has a very nice balance of smoke and zesty pepper! Perfect BBQ!

Definitely one of South Seattle's hidden gems. Delicious BBQ! Beyond exceptional customer service. Cheap price for the amount of food. Short wait time to get food! This place has gone right in every direction!

Great BBQ! Try the Schacht Sandwich; it is a great value for the money. I like trying smaller local restaurants because they often have the best food for the money. This one did not let me down!!

Really good kinda rough, as it should be, bbq place just south of the airport. Have been coming here occasionally for lunch with co-workers for about the last two years. Usually get the brisket sandwich combo with beans and potato salad or slaw. It all good, the meat is great bbq. I am adventurous on rare occasion and get the Schacht Attack, which is giant. It a little bit of everything, wonΓ’β¬β’t need dinner after eating it for lunch. This is one of the better bbq places IΓ’β¬β’ve been to in the Seattle area and would recommend you check it out.

Great people Best bbq grub, gonna have to hit this place again

The Schacht is a big sammitch fulla meat! (As described by the guy here). Cool place, good vibe. Good value. I liked the brisket and hot link but i like my pulled pork more on the smoked side.

I'm from Texas and have eaten some amazing smoked meats. While Mike uses a variety of styles for his BBQ I am right at home in his tiny restaurant. Do yourself a favor and drive on over to see Mike and Jimmy... order a rack of ribs, a couple sides, and a grape soda. Worth the trip from anywhere.

Crazy good

OMG! So good! "The Schacht Attack" sandwich was fantastic, the hot bbq sauce a perfect addition. Did not expect to find bbq this good this far up in the north west. Loved the funny pictures on the walls too. Excellent!

Get the sandwich and be happy

Probably the best BBQ in the area. The guys are working a real smoker outside and the meat benefits from that. The meat isn't smothered in sauce (which is good, because it means that the meat has flavor and they're not just trying to hide bland meat in BBQ sauce). Also, the cost is pretty dang reasonable for BBQ.
Adam Mesa
This place is amazing. Best BBQ place I've been in Seattle area.
Maeve Baruk
My partner & I came here for lunch. We ordered a brisket sandwich& a pulled pork sandwich combos. Both were very very tasty. I can also recommend trying the spicy bbq sauce.
Sara Wildish
I had the pulled pork sammich combo and it was fantastic. The combo comes with a drink and two sides for $10.95 and was FILLING! Will be back.
annie Marie
I got the half rack combo and these ribs are amazing! Great smoky flavor with a slight spice to it. Bbq sauce came on the side so it wasnt drenched and messy. Super low key spot, but the food needs to be known!! This is delicious!
David McLean
Hidden Gem......Hard to beat this place. If you are looking for some ribs or pulled pork this is the place for you. It is No Frills but friendly people and fantastic food.
Tim Vreugdenhil
The Brisket that Mike makes is what they call in the South "40 mile BBQ". I drive 40 miles to get this! I pass three other good BBQ shops on my way to get here. The chicken is not to be missed either. There is a reason he has won awards for his BBQ, and is only open 4 days a week. Truly a passion for the Art!
Adam Bryant
Pulled pork sandwich was tasty
Mark Johnsen
The food is outstanding. The meat is moist and has great flavor. The sauce is excellent. Prices are very good.
John White
I'm from BBQ country on the east coast. This is my favorite local place for pulled pork by far. The Seattle area just can't do BBQ well. Highly recommend stopping in for a platter or sandwich! The sides are great too.
William Gilmore
Awesome food, nice employees, consistently excellent ambience. They charge reasonable pricing and the food quality is awesome. 5 stars.
Todd Woodard
First chance to stop by The BBQ Schacht. Some very good BBQ, not over BBQ'd, spot on to the taste buds. I'll be back for more soon.
Brian Sweed
Best BBQ in Seattle. Probably all of Washington. Everything is excellent.
Wyatt L
Had the Schacht Sammich combo with corn bread and tater salad. Certainly the best BBQ around Des Moines/Burien.

The Good:The Ribs here were smokey, tender, meaty and delicious. The sauce came on the side and was delicious withe just the right amount of spice to give it a kick. The Coleslaw was tasty, crisp, and not overly sweet and dressed well, some the of best I've had.Cornbread was delicious, moist and flavorful. Didn't need to add any butter or anything else, it was great on it's own.The Meh:The Brisket was tender, smokey, and had good flavor, but it was too thin cut, and it didn't have any fat cap.The Beans, were beans... I'm not a fan of beans in general so hard to rate them.Service was great, food came out fast! Will go again, just not going to get Brisket.

Best grub this side of the Rockies!
